Kupuna Watercolor Exhibit at Honolulu Hale

If you happen to have a chance to visit Honolulu Hale this month, stop by the mezzanine level to see some fantastic watercolor paintings done by the kupuna enrolled in Palama Settlement’s Senior Program watercolor class. The artwork is colorful, imaginative, and playful, and extremely well-done for a beginner class. Photos below are from the opening reception held at Honolulu Hale on October 2.

Special thanks to watercolor instructor Dawn Yoshimura, The Awesome Foundation, and the Mayor’s Office of Culture and the Arts for this opportunity to exhibit.
