Community Services supports those living in the neighborhoods surrounding Palama Settlement, including children, families, and home-bound elderly who reside in Mayor Wright, Ka‘ahumanu , Kamehameha, and Puahala Homes.

Program assistance includes:

  • Meeting basic needs including food, clothing, household supplies and goods
  • Navigation of various government and agency systems including housing, welfare, healthcare and health insurance, education, the judiciary and juvenile justice
  • Development and implementation of community and individual empowerment initiatives, such as employment, financial literacy, community safety and more
  • Cultural education
  • Enrichment activities

Emergency Food Pantry

Our Emergency Food Pantry is open:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

How you can help

We accept donations of canned food items that are not past expiration date and new household goods. During the holidays, we also accept new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-12. If you are interested in volunteering with any of our Community Service programs, please email info@palamasettlement.org.
