Education
Palama Settlement’s Digital Arts Program Robotics Team has advanced to the state tournament that will take place this March. Our Tutoring Center now supports over 20 students daily, and in August we distributed more than 500 backpacks and school supplies to students in our community.
Health
This year we partnered with Spill the Tea Cafe and strengthened our Pakolea Program to include Behavioral Health Specialists who come to our campus on a daily basis to interact with our participants and provide necessary resources and counseling to enhance their social emotional wellbeing.
Recreation
Our Senior Programs are seeing record attendance with engaging activities and supportive programs . Our flag football, basketball, volleyball, and water polo teams had strong seasons. We also expanded substance abuse prevention with wellness education and positive alternatives for youth and adults.
These milestones reflect only a portion of the lives touched and strengthened through Palama Settlement’s programs. Yet the need within our community continues to grow. Many of the children, families, and seniors we serve still face persistent challenges—including food insecurity, limited educational opportunities, and financial hardship.
