We would like to mahalo D. Otani Produce, St. Louis School, and Sacred Hearts Academy for their generous donation of food. Thanks to your support, we were able to share these resources not only with our immediate community here at Palama Settlement, but also with partner programs across Kalihi, including We Are Oceania, the pediatric, adult, and women’s health departments at Kalihi-Pālamā Health Center, the family service department at Mayor Wright Housing, and the Susannah Wesley Community Center. Your kindness truly nourishes our community in more ways than one.

Land Acknowledgement
Palama Settlement stands on the Native Hawaiian ancestral lands of Kapālama and Honolulu. We acknowledge that in 1893, Queen Liliʻuokalani yielded the Hawaiian Kingdom under duress to prevent bloodshed. We honor the generations of Kanaka Maoli whose knowledge systems and lifeways continue to steward the ʻāina, wai, and lewa, protecting the lāhui to this day. With a deep sense of kuleana, we integrate Indigenous values and traditions into our programs and services, fostering a community rooted in respect and resilience.
