Join Our Youth Football Program

Get ready to suit up! Palama Settlement’s football program is open to youth ages 4-14. Our coaches create a positive space to learn fundamentals, improve skills, and work as a team. Registration includes participation in practices and games, plus guidance from dedicated mentors who care about every player’s growth.

We focus on fundamentals—tackling, passing, running plays, and footwork—with safety always at the forefront. Players grow at their own pace, with supportive coaching at every step.

FAQs

What ages can join the football program?

Our football program is open to youth ages 4-14. Players are grouped to ensure safe and age-appropriate instruction.

When and where are practices and games held?

A full schedule will be shared after registration.

Players should bring cleats, a water bottle, and a mouthguard. Jerseys and other gear will be provided with registration fee.

How much does it cost to participate?

The program costs $30.

Are beginners welcome?

Absolutely! Our program is open to all skill levels. Coaches work with each player to help them improve and feel confident.

Can parents watch or get involved?

Yes! We love when families come out to support the team. We also welcome volunteers to help with coaching, snacks, and game-day logistics.

Land Acknowledgement

Palama Settlement stands on the Native Hawaiian ancestral lands of Kapālama and Honolulu. We acknowledge that in 1893, Queen Liliʻuokalani yielded the Hawaiian Kingdom under duress to prevent bloodshed. We honor the generations of Kanaka Maoli whose knowledge systems and lifeways continue to steward the ʻāina, wai, and lewa, protecting the lāhui to this day. With a deep sense of kuleana, we integrate Indigenous values and traditions into our programs and services, fostering a community rooted in respect and resilience.
