Hoʻōla Nā Pua (“New Life for Our Children”) is a Hawaiʻi-based non-profit focused on preventing child sex trafficking and providing care to those who have been exploited, with a goal of creating a community where children are safe and can embrace their bright futures.

Today, representatives from Hoʻōla Nā Pua came to Palama Settlement for a meeting with our organization to explore how we can collaborate. We urge you to learn more about Hoʻōla Nā Pua’s programs, their work with survivors and prevention initiatives.

Land Acknowledgement
Palama Settlement stands on the Native Hawaiian ancestral lands of Kapālama and Honolulu. We acknowledge that in 1893, Queen Liliʻuokalani yielded the Hawaiian Kingdom under duress to prevent bloodshed. We honor the generations of Kanaka Maoli whose knowledge systems and lifeways continue to steward the ʻāina, wai, and lewa, protecting the lāhui to this day. With a deep sense of kuleana, we integrate Indigenous values and traditions into our programs and services, fostering a community rooted in respect and resilience.
