Palama Settlement’s volleyball program empowers youth to develop athletic skills, boost confidence, and build lasting friendships in a positive, supportive environment. Whether they’re brand new or seasoned players, all participants learn the value of teamwork, communication, and effort.

Palama’s volleyball program offers youth a fun and structured space to learn the game, improve technique, and play as part of a team. Our experienced coaches provide personalized guidance while encouraging players to bring their best—on the court and in life.

Our volleyball program focuses on personal growth, skill development, and team connection. Every player learns how to challenge themselves, communicate effectively, and enjoy the game with a spirit of aloha.
Elevate the Game
Players strengthen core volleyball techniques—serving, passing, setting, spiking—while learning to stay focused, move with purpose, and play as one.
Support Each Other
Teamwork is everything. Youth learn how to communicate clearly, lift one another up, and build trust on and off the court.
Confidence in Every Rally
We help every player feel seen, supported, and confident—whether it’s their first time in a game or they’re returning with experience.

FAQs

What ages can join the volleyball program?

The program is open to youth ages 12U and 14U. We group players based on age and experience for the best possible coaching.

How much does it cost to register?

$375

What should my child bring?

Players should wear comfortable athletic clothing, athletic shoes, and knee pads. A refillable water bottle is also recommended.

Do players need experience?

No experience necessary! Our program welcomes beginners and returning players. Coaches tailor activities to meet each child where they are.

Are parents allowed to attend practices or games?

Yes—families are always welcome to cheer on their players and support the team. Volunteer opportunities are also available!

Palama Settlement stands on the Native Hawaiian ancestral lands of Kapālama and Honolulu. We acknowledge that in 1893, Queen Liliʻuokalani yielded the Hawaiian Kingdom under duress to prevent bloodshed.
